Micromax 3G data card showing No Device in Windows 8, 8.1 and Windows 10 - Solved

In earlier version of Windows, till Windows 7 (including Windows Xp) installation of Micromax 3G data card software worked fine but, if you will use this data-card in Windows 8,8.1 or Windows 10 then you will find compatibility issue. After installation of the software, it will show “Install Drivers…FAIL ! and it does not detect the device and you will get error “No Device″ .

here are the few steps to resolve this problem:

> Uninstall the previous Micromax 3G data card driver/software
> Plug the data card to your Computer/Laptop
> Open the my computer
> Open the data card drive
> Then you find out  installer.exe file in the data card folder
> Right click on installer file

> And Go to properties > Compatibility > Enable ‘run this program in compatibility mode’ > Select Windows 7
>  Install the software, it will show “Install Drivers…FAIL!” and promote you to Restart your PC.
> After that Go to C:/ drive then program files(x86) and find Micromax data card folder > driver Win7_64

here you find the following files and install these files manually :

i) cmnsmdm > right click > install > Ok
ii) cmnsser > right click > install > Ok

> Now run the software from desktop icon.
> It will start finding the network and it will be available after few seconds.
> Hope it will work fine for you.
